Walk & Talk Therapy

Walk and Talk therapy sessions offer time out for just you. Enjoy the great outdoors and discover a renewed sense of what you really want to achieve. Breathe in and enjoy the scenery whilst walking with a coach who puts you first.

Bournemouth provides us with a whole host of beautiful parks and open green spaces. These are accessible and available at all times of the day with or without an umbrella!

Movement of both body and mind can offer a more holistic approach to conventional face-to-face talking therapies.

Benefits of Walking:
Walking helps boost your mood because it increases blood flow and blood circulation to the brain and body. It has a positive influence on your hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, which is your central nervous response system. This is good because the HPA axis is responsible for your stress response. When you exercise by walking, you calm your nerves, which can make you feel less stressed.

How long do sessions last?
Each walk and talk session lasts for 60 minutes from the time of meeting to the end of the walk.

Will we still walk if it rains?
Yes! If you are happy to walk and talk in the rain, please ensure you have adequate / suitable waterproof clothing and good footwear.

Please ensure your current level of fitness allows you to walk comfortably for at least 60 minutes.
